I've had over 15 year of experience as a veterinarian and the vast majority of that time has been spent in general practice. I know the difficulties that dental procedures can have when it comes to scheduling, providing estimates, and dealing with unexpected findings or complications during the procedure. Not to mention the lack of dental education in our vet school curriculums!
I have a passion for veterinary dentistry and eliminating oral pain in my patients. I have 2 years of advanced dental training from the University of Wisconsin where I was mentored by 3 board certified veterinary dentists while working full time in their dentistry and oral surgery department. I practice top-notch veterinary dentistry with a focus on pain management and anesthesia safety. Not only do I love performing dental procedures but I also like sharing my knowledge with colleagues and training other veterinarians in small animal dentistry techniques. By providing continuing education and mentorship to my peers I hope that many more pets can get the care they need to maintain a healthy and pain-free mouth.
