Staged Procedures
- Although rare, a procedure may need to be completed in 2 stages. This can happen if there is more work identified than anticipated and scheduled for, if a patient is not doing well under anesthesia, and in the case of feline full mouth extraction cases.
- If this occurs then all efforts will be made to get the patient scheduled within a reasonable time frame and fees may be discounted for stage 2.
- Staff DVM's need to anticipate this possibility and prep the owners ahead of their procedure day that this could occur. Owners will be notified over the phone when obtaining treatment consent if I feel their pet's treatment may require staging.
